A Gripper For All Seasons…
This gripper comes fully sealed and watertight because of its 4-sided jaw. It continues to operate no matter what may come: a coolant shower, a storm of fine dusts and debris, it even operates if briefly submerged under water. The flat sides of the jaw guides allow higher moment absorption, while the rounded corners provide optimal sealing. They are available with or without a spring for self-locking or boosting power. Except for the three smallest sizes, each is available in a hydraulic version with 30 bar operating pressure and gripping forces over 4000 N. All grippers are also available heat resistant up to 180° C.

A Home In The Range…
Trying to find the right GP1800 Series gripper for your application is as easy as spotting a buffalo in a haystack. The GP1800s are available in stroke ranges from 3 mm per jaw and up to 30 mm per jaw. And with gripping forces that range from 48 N for the GP1803 to 4450 N of closing force for the GP1830, you can grip anything from a boot strap to that buffalo we were looking for.

Easy Like Sunday Morning…
The GP1800 Series have air connections in the front, back and on the bottom. The bottom ports are closed with grub screws and can be used for hoseless connections. Beyond the air connectors, these grippers also have multiple standard mounting positions. This series was specifically designed to make even the most unusual of applications easy to complete. Now, you would think that something with so much production potential would be a high maintenance item. Quite the opposite actually. All grippers are maintenance-free up to 1.5 million cycles with a life expectancy of at least 5-10 million cycles!
